I also think there is a mardi gras or chinese new year show in the mid 80's that has a second set with iko, eyes drums. May not count because their may have been a drum solo opener before iko

2/11/86 was the Mardi Gras Iko Eyes.
I saw Alpine 6/28/86 Playin UJB Drumz. Sun was in the band's faces. Dbl Encore that I had forgotten about....

I see no reason not to consider the drums as the beginning of Iko, which develops pleasantly and quickly enough after Brent joins in. The vocal starts off a little sketchy - maybe they aren’t sure who is gonna sing the lead at first. Listening now I recognize a bit of awkwardness, which certainly could be contributed to having additional musicians on stage .
